In a few days, Google Classroom is going to be a feature of many real classrooms.
Here is a preview video of a teacher explaining a lot of the features with a side-by-side comparison of teacher and student views. I found it to be a really helpful overview. There are a lot of features to Classroom that beta testers (me included!) have explored for the past couple of months. On August 11th, Classroom goes public for everyone to use. You might be questioning whether Classroom is the right choice for you. Take a look at the video and see for yourself!
Google Classroom is a free service offered by Google to help teachers organize their classroom files. The service allows for quickly assigning material from Google Drive to students and offering a single collection spot for it. No more having to worry about add-ons or running scripts. Google Classroom is an awesome addition to any school using Google Apps for Education.
I will have my own classroom overview up in a couple of days. Subscribe to make sure you don’t miss it!
