What You'll Learn During The Talk:

1

HOW IS GAMIFICATION DIFFERENT THAN PLAYING GAMES?

What does it mean to gamify a class? Is that the same as playing games in class? It is not quite the same and we will talk about what educators can do beyond using games for a particular lesson.

2

WHAT MAKES A GAME FUN?

There are many common elements to all games that make them fun. We will break them down into the components that are most interesting. You will know why students would rather play Clash of Clans than do your worksheet.

3

HOW CAN I ADD GAME ELEMENTS TO MY CLASS?

This is the most important part of the webinar. We will take about how you can add game elements to your own class to engage your students. It is more than just about adding badges, although that is a part of it. Learn the ways you can quickly and easily engage your students with gamification.
