Thank you for being a reader in 2015! This year has been incredibly exciting for the website.
I want to take a moment to look back at an amazing year to recap some of the biggest moments. Included is a look back at the 10 biggest blog posts of 2015. I used the word “website” instead of Guildway by name. That is because this website wasn’t always called “Guildway”. Many of you started as readers in the Spring when the website was still called TeacherRevolutions.
Back then it was a personal blog and simply a place to post my thoughts on teaching. Guildway has transitioned into a place that is larger than just me. It is about you.
Working in education is a challenge but it doesn’t need to be. My goal, my mission, is to help make your profession life easier. This new goal led to a redefining of the website and an actual redesign of the website.
2015: A Quick Recap
This year, this website witnessed a change in name and direction. Along with that came more blog posts, videos, tutorials; a webinar with summer with the company Classcraft; and the publishing of the ebook Unlocked. All of this was done with just one purpose in mind, you. To help you do what you do best.
It was a big year for me as well. I received an online developer certification; named a Massachusetts Technology Pathfinder; was published in EdSurge and Smarter Schools; and named a Schoology Ambassador.
In short, 2015 was awesome.
Before I breakout the list of the 10 top blog posts of 2015, I wanted to say thank you for your support. With the start of 2016, I want to let you know that I am constantly thinking of ways to make your life easier. With that said, I want to let you know that I am currently working on some very cool projects that I will be announcing very soon. So stay tuned! 🙂

Question: You receive a donation for 2016 of $1,000,000 to help out your classroom/school. It can only be used for work. No investing, quitting, retiring or embezzeling. It has to be spent within the next 12 months. What would you spend it on to make your work life immediately better?
